Jameson Hsu is a serial entrepreneur who's had his hand in creating five companies and has invested in over 40 startups. He kicked off his career at PwC as a management consultant before starting his first company in 1999 when he created an award-winning design and advertising agency in NYC called WDDG. In 2005 he began Mochi Media, a web game advertising platform that caught the interest of Shanda Games, who acquired Mochi Media in 2010. Not long after, Jameson jumped back into the startup world by creating an iOS virtualization company, Pieceable, which Facebook ended up acquiring in 2012. After hanging out at Facebook for a bit, he took the reins of WeChat's North America operations for Tencent where he helped grow the user base to be the largest group outside of China.
Among his other ventures, in 2014 Mr. Hsu also founded Nom, a live-streaming video company for chefs. Even though it didn't quite hit the mark in finding its place in the market, it was a worthwhile experience on his entrepreneurial journey. These days, you'll find Jameson working on his latest project, WOD.co, a workout sharing and tracking platform.
